Deck Equipment of Hygrapha (하이그라파 선상 장비)

1. Embarkation Ladders

Embarkation ladders extend in a single length from the deck to the waterline with the vessel in its lightest seagoing condition under unfavourable conditions of trim and with the vessel listed not less than 15 degrees either way. The side ropes of the ladder consist of two uncovered manila ropes of not less than 65mm in circumference. Each wooden part of the embarkation ladder is made of hardwood that is free from knots and any other defects. Ladders are provided with battens not more than nine steps apart to prevent twisting.

2. Pilot Ladders

The above definitions apply in identical manner to pilot ladders applied by HYGRAPHA, with the exception that the four lowest steps are made of hard rubber of strength and stiffness as approved by the Administration.

3. Gangway/Safety Nets for the gangway and where workplaces are more than 25 feet above the deck / ground or water surface, or other surfaces where the use of ladders, scaffolds, catch platforms, temporary floors, safety lines, or safety belts is impractical.

4. Tank Sounding Tapes

Our sounding tapes are 10 to 30m long. The assembly is made of steel tape on a reel with a retrieving control lever, handle, and brass weight at the end of the tape.

 

5. Hand Leads

The hand leads we supply are compliant with regulations and consist of lead weights (weighing 5kg and 10kg), a long rope of (40m and 100m, respectively), marked with cloth and leather strips to indicate the various depths.
